Bucking the trends of Top 40 pop-country, Southern songstress Kacey Musgraves is set to deliver her sophomore album Pageant Material later this month — and to add to the anticipation, she stepped into the role of the musical guest on last night's (June 9) episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Performing her latest single "Biscuits," Musgraves channelled the country greats of the past, jazzing up the traditional gingham dress look and delivering a drawling rendition of the folksy tune. Her band provided some vintage country sound via stand-up bass and banjo, but added some modern flair by sporting light-up suits.
