"Heartbeats" / "Swan Pond"

As previously reported, established Canadian songstress Julie Doiron has teamed up with Eamon McGrath, as well as Mike Peters and Jaye Schwarzer from Cancer Bats, for a forthcoming tour and 7-inch single. Well, now you can hear the new single from Julie Doiron & the Wrong Guys, which will be out as of September 18 via We Are Busy Bodies.

The A-side features new track "Heartbeats," while the flip side hosts the track "Swan Pond." Doiron shared the latter tune with Exclaim! TV and the crowd at the Bloor Ossington Folk Festival last fall, but now you can hear the fine-tuned studio version.

Dearly Beloved's Rob Higgins produced the two tracks and you can scroll past the band's upcoming Canadian tour dates, which kick off this week, to stream both "Heartbeats" and "Swan Pond" below.
