Julia Holter is finally set to followup last year's Loud City Song with a double A-side 7-inch. The record includes a cover of Dionne Warwick's "Don't Make Me Over," which you can stream here now.
The song has long been a live staple for Holter, who included a concert recording of the song on her 2010 release Celebration. The studio version has been treated to a wonderfully vintage arrangement, complete with upright bass, hard-hitting drums and a symphonic arrangement. Holter, too, does the song a whole lot of justice.
Listen to "Don't Make Me Over" below. The song will be released on August 19 on a 7-inch through Domino. The record also includes her cover of Barbara Lewis' "Hello Stranger" from Loud City Song.
