Later this month, the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion will return with their new album Freedom Tower - No Wave Dance Party 2015. Ahead of its arrival, they've shared a video for their song "Betty vs. the NYPD."
A literal interpretation of the song's title, the video stars comedian/alt-cabaret performer Bridget Everett as she does her explosive dance moves while in police custody. The band also make a brief cameo, dressed in drag in the video's opening scene.
