Archaic punk rocker Johnny Rotten has been slapped with a civil lawsuit after allegedly beating a woman during the taping of a reality TV show.
According to a report from Billboard, an assistant producer for the show Bodog Battle of the Bands, which featured 52-year-old Rotten (whos real name is John Lydon), has accused the musician of sexually harassing and assaulting her after he didnt like the hotel room he was given. In court papers filed at the Los Angeles County Superior Court Wednesday, the assistant also alleges Rotten "cocked back his fist... and punched her in the face," as well as lashed out with such tasteful comments as "a fat fucking cunt, fucking cunt, and fat fucking whore.
The alleged act of aggression happened in January 2007 but did not lead to any criminal charges against the singer.
As of yet, Rotten has stuck to the old "not available for comment stance.
