This month, former Smiths (along with the Cribs and Modest Mouse) guitarist Johnny Marr will take a break from joining other people's bands and issue his solo debut, The Messenger. Now, to coincide with the album, he's announced a North American tour.
The run of shows includes stops in the UK before Marr hops the pond and travels around North America. Along with some high-profile spots alongside New Order and appearances at both Coachellas, Marr will make a single Canadian appearance in Toronto, playing the Phoenix on April 27.
