John Fogerty Gets Foo Fighters, My Morning Jacket for New Album

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Apr 3, 2012

The last time we heard from former Creedence Clearwater Revival leader John Fogerty, he had just released his covers-heavy set The Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again in 2009, but the iconic rocker's next set will apparently fix a backwards glance on his own back catalogue.

A press sheet explains that Fogerty will be chooglin' along with a number of guests on the upcoming Wrote a Song for Everyone. While a tracklisting and due date have yet to appear, the LP will reportedly focus on "classics and deep tracks" from both Fogerty's CCR and solo periods, and it will feature assistance from Foo Fighters (who will guest on "Fortunate Son"), My Morning Jacket, Bob Seger, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson and Dawes, among others.

While details are slim at present, the package should arrive sometime this fall through Vanguard.
