Joe Pernice

Ex-Jale drummer Mike Belitsky is the common thread that connects these two, playing drums with Scud Mountain Boy Joe Pernice, and checking in with his own solo effort as Cheticamp, with Pernice singing back-up. Pernice is the winner here, with his little heartbreaker, “The Two of You Sleep.” Cheticamp is peppier (it’s relative), but more romantically pathetic on “Little Rebound,” not a song that’s gonna woo anyone. All on nice chocolate milk coloured vinyl.
