Detroit electro dude Jimmy Edgar has announced that his upcoming Saline EP will feature a posthumous appearance from Chicago producer DJ Rashad.

The four-track effort will arrive on October 13 through Edgar's own Ultramajic label and marks the follow-up to last fall's Mercurio EP.

According to a press release, opening track "Decalcify" makes reference to "a process closely related to desalination, as both play a role in making the body more attuned to supernatural experiences." Edgar's vocals are featured on "Burn," while DJ Rashad's voice will be heard on "Walk Show."

As previously reported, Rashad passed away earlier this year from a drug overdose.

The tracklisting for Saline is available below, while the bizarre art for the release can be seen up top. Edgar has also revealed pulsating album cut "Burn," which you can listen to in the player at the bottom of the post.
