With the September 4 release of Jerusalem in My Heart's curiously-named new album If He Dies, If If If If If If barely a month away, the Eastern-tinged Montreal project have shared a new LP cut with "A Granular Buzuk."
The song mixes ancient-sounding influences with modern production sounds. It's a seven-minute epic in which Sharif Sehnaoui's Eastern acoustic licks are underlaid with a pulse-racing electronic surge that simmers without ever fully exploding.
