Jenn Grant recently released an album with her band Aqua Alta, but now the Maritime songwriter is revisiting her 2014 solo LP Compostela with a video for "Wild Animal."
The song is a unique, conga-pattering jazz-reggae number, and the accompanying video shows grainy, VHS-style images of Grant singing directly into the camera. There are some images of a wild cat plus an appearance from Grant's guitar-playing buddy, but the singer is mostly the centre of attention here.
Compostela is already out in Canada through Outside Music. It's due out in the U.S. on May 19.
