Jason Collett Announces 2014 Basement Revue Series

BY Alex HudsonPublished Nov 4, 2014

Jason Collett's annual Basement Revue is a holiday tradition in Toronto, and the songwriter will keep it alive this December with the eighth instalment of the yearly showcase.

The series will include five separate shows: there are intimate gigs at the Dakota Tavern on December 2, 9, 23 and 30, plus what a press release calls a "star-studded" show at the Adelaide Hall on December 18.

As usual, the performers won't be announced ahead of time, and each night's guests will remain a surprise to the audience until the moment they appear on stage. Fans can expect Collett to bring out "friends, musicians, storytellers, and poets."

Past Basement Revues have featured the likes of Feist, Broken Social Scene, Margaret Atwood, Daniel Lanois, Rufus Wainwright, the Sadies, Bahamas, Rich Aucoin, K-os and many more.

Tickets cost $25 per night. They're available to purchase here.
