Ivory Hours

"I'll Stay Away" (video)

London, ON four-piece Ivory Hours have unveiled a new clip for "I'll Stay Away," and you can see it here first on Exclaim.ca.

Comprising singing siblings Luke and Annie Roes, along with Chris Levesque on bass and Thomas Perquin on drums, the alt-pop unit released their EP Mary last year. "I'll Stay Away" marks the fifth track to get the visual treatment from the record, with one last video still on the way to complete the series.

According to Luke Roes, the melodramatic pop ballad is a "love tune about the last dregs of a relationship." As for the clip itself, it was shot in the dark with an abundance of sparklers and fireworks. Alex Stephenson, who worked with the band on their four previous Mary videos, shot and edited the footage.

Ivory Hours will be heading into the studio this February to record a full-length, which they hope to release this spring. They've also got a handful of live shows next month, which you can see listed below.
