Imagine if church had more beats and a lot more dancing. I might actually go to church if it was like that, and in a way I kind of did last night when HUMANS took the stage at the church turned music venue known as the Alix Goolden Performance Hall.

Normally when the Vancouver duo performs, it's to a liquored crowd in a nightclub, but not last night. At one point Robbie Slade looked up into the balcony of the hall to see people all over the venue dancing uncontrollably. "This is the most 3D venue we've ever played," he said. Even though the crowd seemed completely entranced by the live electronic music, Slade seemed to be constantly battling with their lighting often yelling into his microphone for lights to be turned off. And despite the venue's outstanding acoustics, the mix of the HUMANS set seemed to be muddled.
