Next month, Glaswegian party starter Hudson Mohawke will drop his collaboration-heavy Lantern. Today, he's given us another taste of the LP with a video for album track "Scud Books."
The song knocks with heavy bass and slapping snares, but it's anchored by some truly uplifting synth melodies. Fitting with the song's sound, the accompanying video is intercut with shots of Hudson hyping a crowd and slow footage of flowers blooming.

In addition, Hudson Mohawke appeared on Benji B's BBC Radio 1 show last night, where he premiered three other songs from Lantern as well as four B-sides. Hear both shows below.
Lantern is due out June 16 via Warp.
