Horse the Band Sign To Vagrant

Nintendocore champs, pizzaologists and all around odd folk Horse The Band recently parted ways with their previous label, Koch, and are basking in the glory of signing with the much more suitable Vagrant Records. The band are excited to head back into studio for March, which will result in their fourth full-length album being done near mid-summer.

"Vagrant Records has been home to so many of our favourite bands. Now (nine, eight, and seven years after I sent them our first, second, and third demos, respectively) the label has renewed their holy vows to 'excellence' by signing us," said keyboardist Erik Engstrom. "Finally we can breathe as humans breathe, walk as humans walk," says vocalist Nathan Winneke. "Band as horses band," chimes in drummer Daniel Pouliot.

As odd as they may be, Horse The Band are true self-starters, having booked their own 45-country, three-month world tour that will allow them to again take part in this year's Australia's Soundwave Festival. In addition, the Californians are also expected to self-release their Earth Tour DVD and accompanying photo book this year as well.
