London, England grunge-pop revivalists the History of Apple Pie have previewed their forthcoming new album with a video for the song "Jamais Vu."

The band get all first-year film school on us with their new video for "Jamais Vu," which sees them drawing on Criterion classics Weekend (Jean-Luc Godard) and Rushmore (Wes Anderson) for influence.

There are certainly plenty of visual cues from both films, though it's more Anderson than Godard as the band sport fancy vintage outfits and deliver the track in a forest. In fact, most of the video looks like Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom.

Either way, it's a fairly fun clip. Check it out below. The group's Feel Something will arrive tomorrow (September 30) via Marshall Teller Records.
