Fronting the fuzzed-out lo-fi pop project Helen, Liz Harris is taking things in a different direction than her quieter, dreamier work with Grouper. The new outfit drops their debut album The Original Faces today (September 4) and to mark the occasion, they've shared a new video for "Covered in Shade."
The group's lineup is rounded out by Jed Bindeman and Scott Simmons, and the new clip sees them frolicking about on beaches, in fields and even at a graveyard. The grainy, lo-fi 8mm footage mimics the sound of the just over a minute-long song and you can see them paired together in the player below.
