Earlier this year, organizers unveiled the lineup for the annual Heavy Montreal festival. The already stacked bill just got bigger, however, as they've made a few last-minute additions to the event.
The music festival, which runs August 7 to 9 at Montreal's Parc Jean-Drapeau, has gotten that much heavier with the addition of a handful of artists. These include appearances from Extreme, Neurosis, Abbath, the Devin Townsend Project, Sanctuary, Veil of Maya, the Acacia Strain and Cattle Decapitation.
They'll join previously announced guests like Faith No More, Alexisonfire, Slipknot, Lamb of God, Bullet for My Valentine, Mastodon, Iggy Pop, NOFX, Billy Talent, Meshuggah, Within Temptation, Gojira and Korn.
The festival will also include appearances from Testament, Rocket from the Crypt, Lita Ford, Dokken, Deafheaven, Coal Chamber, Moneen, Gorguts, the Flatliners, Asking Alexandria, Pig Destroyer, Warrant, Arch Enemy, Pentagram, Ihsahn, Dying Fetus, Nuclear Assault, Fozzy, Lagwagon, Dead Tired, Small Brown Bike, Marky Ramone with Andrew W.K., Glassjaw and others.
