Organizers behind the Maritimes' Halifax Pop Explosion has announced yet another round of additions to this fall's festivities, with a few of the bigger acts including rapper Travi$ Scott, tech-metal vets Dillinger Escape Plan, and U.S. indie rockers Cloud Nothings.

As previously reported, this year's Pop Explosion runs October 20 to 24, and will feature a number of Canadian and global acts spread out across various local venues. On the national front, it was also just revealed that the Weather Station and Stars have been added to the bill.

Additionally, other acts now set to appear include A Sight For Sewn Eyes, Andy Shauf, Best Fiends, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Braids, Brian Kremer, Cancer Bats, Dear Rouge, Doldrums, Don Brownrigg, Each Other, Elsa Cross, Gina Chavez, Grounders, Jana Horne, Jenn Grant, Jonathan Terrell, July Talk, Mardeen, Majical Cloudz, Mauno, Moon, Nap Eyes, Seoul, Silas Lowe, The Men, Vulva Culture, Walrus, and White Reaper.

They join previously announced artists Purity Ring, Alvvays and Rich Aucoin.

With comedy also mixed into this year's events, it was further revealed that Neil Hamburger, a.k.a. "America's funnyman," will be doing a standup set. While Hamburger has been hitting the clubs for years, he also stars in this summer's Marvel blockbuster, Ant-Man. In case you didn't recognize him without an armful of half-spilled highballs, he was credited under his civilian name of Gregg Turkington.

As for ticketing to the fest, organizers are offering an Early Bird pass for $79 until August 7. You can find out more info over here.
