Greys Unveil 'Easy Listening' EP, Canadian Tour

Greys Unveil 'Easy Listening' EP, Canadian Tour
If, like us at Exclaim!, Greys' 2011 EP Ultra Sorta put you in post-punk heaven, you'll be glad to know that the noisy, Toronto-based band are about to follow up that set with another bite-sized blast called Easy Listening.

A press release explains that the act's upcoming six-song affair arrives May 22 through Concession Records. Touting a sound that references Fugazi, Drive Like Jehu and the Jesus Lizard, the band's latest effort finds them "getting heavier, softer, faster, slower, melodic and atonal at the same time."

The collection was tracked live to tape at Toronto's Chemical Sound studio. You can check out the new video for EP number "Cascades" over here at Alternative Press and/or stream the track below.

Fans of Greys will likely get to hear the new jams on the group's upcoming Canadian tour. They'll play some Ontario-area shows in March and April, but they'll head out to both coasts between May and July, capping the trip with a performance at Edmonton's Wunderbar on July 4. You can peep the schedule, which also includes a few U.S. dates, below.
