Greg MacPherson Announces 'Fireball' LP, Maps Out Canadian Tour Dates

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 23, 2013

A couple of years on from singing us the Disintegration Blues, Winnipeg folkie Greg MacPherson has confirmed he'll be sending his Fireball our way later this fall. The LP, his sixth overall, drops October 29 via his Disintegration Records imprint.

A press release notes that this time around, MacPherson "explores the dangerous, heartbreaking, and romantic stories of people you can relate to." The apparently stripped-down set was recorded with Cam Loeppky, who co-runs Disintegration with MacPherson, and features straight-to-the-point tracks like roots-rock opener "1995," which you can stream down below.

MacPherson has scheduled two Canadian tour legs to support the album, with the first running from Ontario out towards the Maritimes this October and the next hitting Western Canada in November. You'll find all the tour details, as well as Fireball's tracklisting, down below.
