Back in 2009, Burlington, ON screamo pioneers Grade recorded their first new material since breaking up in 2002, but were a little reticent to announce their proper return. It's still hazy whether or not the group are back for good, but Grade have confirmed at least one reunion show this year.
The act will take top billing at the Guelph Concert Theatre on September 1. This will be their first show since a sold-out Toronto Opera House gig in 2006. Despite their sonic contributions to the final issue of At Both Ends, the band haven't issued a full-length since 2001's Headfirst Straight Into Hell.
In addition to Grade getting back together, the show will also feature a reunion set from pop punks the Fullblast, as well as the recently reformed Belvedere and Moneen.
The Fullblast called it quits in 2006, but played a show at the Opera House in 2008. Calgary's Belvedere also got back together earlier this year.
Moneen, meanwhile, never broke up, but their shows are few and far between these days. They did, however, perform a set at Toronto's Sneaky Dee's in May.
