Glastonbury Announces 2013 Lineup with the Rolling Stones, Portishead, Phoenix, the Weeknd
Glastonbury Festival is always one of the biggest events on the British music calendar, and the organizers have now confirmed the performers for their 2013 edition. As expected, the lineup includes plenty of big-name performers, including a sought-after appearance from rock giants the Rolling Stones.

In addition to the Stones, this year's Glastonbury lineup includes appearances from (deep breath) Arctic Monkeys, Mumford and Sons, Portishead, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, the XX, Smashing Pumpkins, Primal Scream, Public Image Limited, James Blake, Johnny Marr, Nas, the Weeknd, Tame Impala, Major Lazer, Alabama Shakes, Alt-J, Cat Power, Crystal Castles, SBTRKT, BadBadNotGood, Goat, Disclosure, Tyler, the Creator, Public Enemy, Local Natives, Frightened Rabbit, Jessie Ware, Dinosaur Jr., Toro y Moi, Foals, HAIM, the Horrors, Azealia Banks, AlunaGeorge, Savages, Palma Violets, Fuck Buttons, Melody's Echo Chamber, Matthew E. White, the Vaccines, Elvis Costello, Billy Bragg, Chic featuring Nile Rogers, the Lumineers, Major Lazer, Of Monsters and Men, Rodriguez, Rufus Wainwright, Kenny Rogers, Devendra Banhart, Sinead O'Connor, Glen Hansard, Robyn Hitchock, Steve Winwood, Amanda Palmer, Tom Tom Club, Ben Howard, Jake Bugg, Seasick Steve, Alice Russell, Django Django, and more.

Then multi-day event runs from June 28 to 30 in Pilton, UK. Tickets are already sold out, so if you were hoping to go but don't have a pass, then you might have to scour Craigslist. Get more information and see the full lineup over at Glastonbury's website.

Nabbing the Rolling Stones is undeniably a big coup for Glastonbury. Rumours suggested that Mick Jagger and company might perform at Coachella, but this, of course, didn't pan out.
