Girl Band Book North American Fall Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Aug 27, 2015

All-male noiseniks Girl Band hail from Ireland, but late this fall, they will be coming to our continent on a tour in support of the upcoming album Holding Hands with Jamie. Luckily for Canadians, the tour includes a few stops here in our home and native land.

The outing runs for exactly a month, from November 20 to December 20. Like so many North American tours, it consists of a pile of U.S. shows, plus dates in Canada's three largest tour cities: Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto.

See the full schedule below. In addition to the North American dates, there are lots of European shows in the coming weeks.

For a taste of what Girl Band are like in concert, check out a ferocious live video for the Holding Hands with Jamie cut "Paul" at the bottom of this page.

Holding Hands with Jamie will be out on September 25 through Rough Trade.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, the band have now cancelled the tour. They issued the following statement: "We are extremely sorry to announce that we have to pull all of our upcoming European and North American tour dates in 2015. This is due to health issues in the band. We would like to thank everyone who has bought a ticket and will be doing our best to get back to play as soon as we can"
