Ghostface Killah Attacks Action Bronson in Lengthy YouTube Rant

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jul 20, 2015

Things have really soured since earlier this year when Ghostface Killah (perhaps jokingly) said he's gotten his voice confused with Action Bronson's in the past. Now, Wu-Tang veteran is not playing around in a new, lengthy YouTube clip where he lays out the Queens rapper.

The beef started earlier this month when Bronson appeared on ESPN's Sports Nation. When asked about the constant comparisons to Ghostface Killah, Bronson said he was honoured to be compared to one of the greats. Then he added, "He's not rapping like this no more." When asked if he was taking a shot, Bronson smugly said, "Nope, just being honest."

Ghostface was so pissed off that he didn't even remember to switch his phone from portrait to landscape mode. Wearing a crisp sweatsuit and playing a soul record in the background, Ghost goes in on Bronson for a solid six minutes.

The clip is almost endlessly quotable as Ghost schools Bronson into respecting his elders with lines like, "Who gives you the right to even mention my name out your motherfucking mouth?" He even suggests he might light Bronson's beard on fire one day.

Watch both clips below, then pick a side in the great Ghostface voice wars.

UPDATE: Action Bronson has already responded to the video with a tweet where he claims he was "wrong" about Ghostface.
