Get Ready to Bake Your Own Sacrilicious Slayer Pizza Pie

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 17, 2014

Though we've recently learned of the truly confusing Ian MacKaye hamburger and Gwar's plans to open their own "gourmet junk food" spot GWARbar, music-geared foodies may want to prepare themselves for the most demonically delicious menu item of all: the Slayer Pizza.

The recipe for the ungodly, inverted pentagram-shaped food item was prepped by Chef John Hurkes of Minneapolis, MN establishment the Bulldog N.E. and delivered through Exclaim! contributor Jason Schreurs' Rice and Bread magazine. To make the pie, Hurkes has thrashed together a mix of ingredients including "chopped Fra Mani toscano, soppressata, finocchiona, Cypress Grove 'Lamb Chopper' cheese, house marinara, signature communion wafer crust, and an altar wine gastrique."

Judging by the mouth-watering picture above, the Slayer Pizza should serve 11 members of the Slaytanic Wehrmacht a mandatory gooey slice, though the individual portions are going to be a little uneven. That said, Slayer fans will no doubt give in to temptation and bite straight into a veritable dead skin mask of sheep's cheese. As the blood red pizza sauce rains down their chins, they'll feel as if they're not south of, but rather in heaven.

If you're willing to show your meal no mercy, you can head here for the sacrilicious recipe.
