Gang Gang Dance Announce Fall North American Tour, Play Vancouver

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Aug 30, 2011

Following the May release of their Eye Contact LP, experimental New York combo Gang Gang Dance took off on an East Coast trip, with Canadian gigs in Montreal and Toronto. Of the latter, we heralded the troupe's expertly performed, eclectic world-electro improvisations, not to mention singer Lizzi Bougatsos's penchant for "moving like a hypnotized serpent to the Middle Eastern synthesized waves of 'Adult Goth.'" If those of you out West were a little jealous, don't fret. The band will be making their way over this fall.

The group have announced a string of tour dates running from late September straight through to the end of October. Regrettably only one of those shows takes place in Canada (October 15 at Vancouver's Biltmore Cabaret), but better one than none, right?
