Although Future has been hinting about Dirty Sprite 2 for months, he only officially announced DS2 a week ago (July 10). Now, the album has arrived via Epic Records/Sony Music, and it's available to stream in full.
DS2 features lots of Future's shadowy brand of atmospheric, Auto-Tune hip-hop. In some case, this takes the form of hedonistic party anthems like the sororital sex jam "Real Sisters," the wealth-celebrating single "Fuck Up Some Commas," or the Drake-aided "Where Ya At." On the other hand, "The Percocet & Stripper Joint" is slow, drug-hazed funk, and "Kno the Meaning" features mournful piano and downcast personal remembrances.
