After celebrating their tenth anniversary at the beginning of this year, Ottawa grindcore band Fuck the Facts are set to release their ninth studio album Die Miserable on October 11 via Relapse Records. But you can listen to the whole album now on Exclaim.ca.

The band, who have previously dubbed their sound as "bastardized grindcore" and "mullet-core," return with their first new record since 2008's Disgorge Mexico. Between touring, an EP and a DVD, work on Die Miserable was put on the back burner for a while, but as they say, good things come to those who wait.

The new material was mixed by friend of the band Craig Boychuk, who has been working with the group for the last couple years. Speaking about the album title in a statement, guitarist Topon Das said he named it after "the feeling I have every time I need to write a quote about a new album."

Das also assured fans that "even if our album isn't any good, the garbage we'll be posting to hype it up will be awesome."

Following the release of the album, Fuck the Facts will be playing a show in their hometown of Ottawa on October 9 with Napalm Death. That's the only upcoming show currently slated for Fuck the Facts, but we're guessing more are on the way.

In the meantime, listen to Die Miserable below and pre-order a copy here.
