Four Tet has been known to drop surprise collections at a moment's notice, but producer Kieran Hebden will be taking a more traditional approach with his next album. This will be called Morning/Evening and it's due out in the summer.
Hebden announced the news in a string of tweets. There's no firm release date just yet, but it will come out "by early July" on Hebden's own Text Records. It consists of just two tracks — "Morning Side" and "Evening Side" — each of which is around 20 minutes long.
That's the album cover above. The collection will be available on vinyl, CD and digital download, in addition to being shared through streaming services. It will be released as Four Tet, rather than under Hebden's Percussions alias.
