The Foo Fighters are set to unveil their Sonic Highways HBO TV series at the end of the week (October 17), with an album of the same name to follow on November 10, and the band kicked off their week-long residency at The Late Show with David Letterman to celebrate.
Settling into the studio, the band delivered their first performance last night (October 13) and opted for a classic cover to kick off the week. Dave Grohl and co. took on Black Sabbath's "War Pigs." They even brought out special guest, country giant Zac Brown (owner of Nashville's Southern Ground Studios, where part of Sonic Highways was recorded).
You can give it a watch below. Scroll past the performance to see Grohl sit down and chat with Letterman about the new projects.
