Flying Lotus Preps Second <i>LA</i> EP

Fast on the heels of Los Angeles, avant-hip-hop producer extraordinaire Flying Lotus has leaked the details on some follow-up action. On November 24, the project’s Steven Ellison will give us the next installment in his LA EP series, dropping volume 2X3 via his home of Warp Records.

Unlike last year’s LA EP 1X3, the upcoming six-track release will be made up entirely of remixes, with artists such as Martyn, Ras_G and Samiyan having a go at several Flying Lotus originals. However, there are no remixes done by Ellison himself, meaning for now his Lil Wayne-enhanced ”Robo Tussin and Radiohead rework of "Reckoner” remain strictly digital affairs.

Here is the tracklisting LA EP 2X3, which like the previous volume will presumably come as a digital download and limited edition 12-inch:
