Florence and the Machine Expand North American Tour, Add Vancouver Date

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jun 5, 2015

Earlier this year, Florence and the Machine made headlines when frontwoman Florence Welch broke her foot on tour. But despite having to tone down the stage show, the band pushed on with their scheduled appearances — and they're not slowing down yet. They've announced another string of tour dates, which will include a Canadian stop in Vancouver.

Following a series of previously announced festival commitments — including slots at Toronto's Bestival on June 12 and Montreal's Osheaga on July 31 — and after a brief jaunt back to Europe, the band will embark on a month-long tour of primarily American cities.

It kicks off in Austin, TX, on October 11 before heading west. Welch and co. will eventually wind their way up the coast for a Vancouver show at Rogers Arena on October 25. The tour comes to a close two nights later in Seattle.

You can see the band's full list of upcoming dates below. Florence and the Machine's latest LP How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful is out now via Island.
