Swedish sister act First Aid Kit released their latest LP Stay Gold last year, and they've kept busy since then by sharing a string of covers by the likes of R.E.M. and Jack White. Notably, they also did a rendition of Simon & Garfunkel's "America" a while back, and they revived it last night (May 7) during their stint as the musical guest on The Late Show with David Letterman.
The song has some sentimental value to the television host, who said that he used to sing it to his son, Harry. He didn't join in for any bars, but we're guessing that First Aid Kit's version probably sounds a little nicer.
