The Fight

"Try"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Apr 27, 2015

Edmonton five-piece the Fight are gearing up to release a new EP this summer, but before it arrives, the band have shared their latest single "Try."

Featuring melodic guitars, a bounce-along backbeat and hazy vocal harmonies, "Try" certainly puts the prairie band on the Canadian indie rock map. The track will appear on the aforementioned EP, which is titled North America and scheduled for release on August 19 through Open Circles Collective.

The band will also be making the trek to Toronto for Canadian Music Week next month, with a slot scheduled at Rancho Relaxo on May 5. They'll play alongside the Wicks, Lost Cousins and the Spare Me's.

For now, though, get acquainted with the Edmonton indie rock outfit by giving "Try" a spin in the player below.
