Field Music's David Brewis Announces New Album as School of Language

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jan 15, 2014

In addition to performing as Field Music, the Brewis brothers each have their own solo projects. Peter goes by the Week That Was, while David records as School of Language. The latter has just announced that his new album Old Fears will be be out on April 8 through Memphis Industries.

The record consists of 10 songs. The tracklist is down below and the album cover is above. Check out the widget embedded at the bottom of this page to stream or download "Between the Suburbs," which is a quirkily soulful electro-pop number.

Old Fears will be available on CD or fuchsia-coloured vinyl. Additionally, a 7-inch EP called More Fears will be released exclusively through Field Music's website, also on April 7. This will contain five non-album tracks.

All copies of Old Fears purchased through Field Music's website will come signed. Peruse your pre-order options here.

This will be School of Language's first album since 2008's Sea from Shore. That same year, the Week That Was released a self-titled LP.
