We just heard a Nas-assisted track from Fashawn yesterday (February 19), and now the California rapper has shared his entire new album The Ecology ahead of its February 24 release date on Mass Appeal.
This is the MC's second official solo album, making it the long-awaited follow-up to 2009's Boy Meets World. As with that album, much of the lush, organic-sounding production is handled by Exile, but this time around others like the Alchemist and FJ Khalil also pitch in, with featured guests including Busta Rhymes, BJ the Chicago Kid, Aloe Blacc, Dom Kennedy and others. (Don't forget, of course, that Nas appears.)
The title of The Ecology refers to the people, situations and surroundings of Fashawn's hometown of Fresno. Enter the rapper's environment by listening below.
