Before the current crop of post-punk buzz bands clogged your iTunes playlist, San Francisco no wave phenoms Erase Errata were at the forefront of the skronky noise punk scene. The group released a handful of singles and three albums, including their Kill Rock Stars debut Night Life. That album came out in 2006 and then the band seemingly disappeared. Fortunately, they're gearing up to return with a brand new single next month.
The seven-inch record, which is again being released by Kill Rock Stars, will feature the track "Damaged" on the A-side and "Ouija Boarding" on the flip. Both tracks were recorded with Shellac's sound person Christina Files, who also contributed some analog synth work.
The "Damaged"/"Ouija Boarding" single will be available on vinyl on November 2. The record is available for pre-order now, and comes with an instant download of both tracks. For more information head over here.
