As previously reported, Norwegian metal masters Enslaved will release their new In Times all in due time, but if you're feeling antsy, the group have unveiled a new lyric video. An eyes- and ears-obliterating clip has been put together for the album's "Thurisaz Dreaming."
When not strobing out with blinding flashes of light, which admittedly accompany the manic blasts and shrieks quite nicely, the video delivers an assemblage of on-the-nose visuals. A screamed "two eyes closed" is fit with visuals of just that, while nocturnal lines are represented with dark forest scenes and a discussion of the passage of time is reflected with a shot of a pocket watch.
Nuclear Blast will issue In Times on March 6, while Enslaved starts a North American tour a day earlier. The trip has them travelling with Yob and passes through Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal before wrapping up at the end of the month. You'll find venue and date details here.
