Thanks to our recent Essential Guide, there's no excuse for you to not be an expert on the veteran soundtrack maestro Ennio Morricone. That said, if you're craving even more Morricone in your life, the long-running composer will soon be celebrated with a new documentary film.
As Deadline reports, Morricone's life and work will soon be explored in a new feature-length documentary.
The film will be directed by Giuseppe Tornatore and produced by Bobby Păunescu, Dragoṣ Săvulescu, George Shu and Serena Menarini.
Tornatore is a perfect filmmaker to helm the project, having worked with Morricone on films like Cinema Paradiso. He's set to start production on the film in August, where he'll shoot interviews with various subjects while also filming a narrative film simultaneously.
Ennio Morricone, now 86, has soundtracked over 500 films and television shows.
