The Elwins

"Forgetful Assistance" (video)

Ontario indie pop group the Elwins won us over with their 2012 debut album, And I Thank You, and now the band have unveiled a characteristically charming video for "Forgetful Assistance."

The clip is an excellent execution of a simple concept, as the musicians use videos displayed on multiple iPhones to create an intricately choreographed routine for the peppy tune. We're betting that the dudes in Hollerado are kicking themselves for not thinking of this one first.

Although the clip boasts a simple concept, it was by no means easy to pull off, since it apparently took three months of preparation and 19 takes to get it right.

The Elwins will play a couple of Ontario shows with Young Rival this month. Get the details over here.
