Toronto dream pop act Elsa offered a worthy introduction with last year's excellent I Do EP, but we haven't heard much from them since. Fortunately, they've been working on new material all along.
In a new Facebook post, the group announced that they've prepared a five-song platter called Never Come Down.
Details are scarce, but the attached tracklisting already has us excited. After all, we're pretty sure that few bands could make a blissfully melancholy anthem called "Bummed Out" like Elsa.
The album's artwork features a photo by Laura-Lynn Petrick, and it is available above.
Never Come Down is expected to arrive "in a few months," and will be available on both vinyl and iTunes. The group's last release arrived via Fucked Up guitarist Mike Haliechuk's One Big Silence label, though it's unclear if the two parties are working together again.
