In 2013, Fiery Furnaces member Eleanor Friedberger will once again go solo by releasing Personal Record on June 4 via Merge. Now, the singer-songwriter has shared a music video for the album cut "Stare at the Sun."

The video for this upbeat indie pop number shows Friedberger performing with her band, while additional footage finds her singing in front of projections, playing with a pair of fluffy dogs, and bopping along with a sign language interpreter.

Director Scott Jacobson said [via Pitchfork], "The video started as a riff on the 'What makes life worth living?' scene from Woody Allen's Manhattan, with Friedberger generating a list of dozens of her favourite things. Old English Sheepdogs made the list, and two particularly shaggy specimens of the breed ended up in starring roles."
