Universal Music continues to fill record shelves and deflate high prices by reissuing out-of-print records on vinyl through its Back to Black series. Up next is a long-awaited repress of Eels' debut album Beautiful Freak.
The 1996 record has been out of print on vinyl for some time, and if prices are any indication, it's remained a sought-after item. As Modern Vinyl points out, the LP is currently reaching asking prices over $550.
Rather than break the bank, Eels fans can grab a copy of the record on eel-coloured vinyl (a.k.a. black) when the reissue hits stores on June 23.
