Dusted Plots Ontario/Quebec Tour, Shares Two Songs from Archive

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 12, 2013

While Brian Borcherdt previously shed some light on the future of his band Holy Fuck, he will spend the spring continuing to focus on his project Dusted, with whom he released the album Total Dust last summer.

Following some shows at SXSW this week, Dusted will tour throughout Ontario in April and make a quick trip to Montreal. Most of these shows are with Toronto post-punks Rituals, although there's also a show with Absolutely Free and some with Ell V Gore. See the schedule below.

Scroll past that to hear two early Dusted cuts that didn't appear on Total Dust: the unreleased "No Trouble" and a rarity that previously appeared on a split flexi-disc with METZ called "In Yr Skull." Both of these are haunting songs that are relatively faithful to the sound of Total Dust and feature Borcherdt's Holy Fuck cohorts Graham Walsh and Matt McQuaid, plus former member Brad Kilpatrick.
