New wave lifers Duran Duran have teamed up with a number of high-profile contributors on the new album Paper Gods, and we can now hear one of these collaborations in action thanks to the emergence of the track "Pressure Off."
This tune features Janelle Monáe and Chic's Nile Rodgers. It has Rodgers' stamp all over it, since the synth-dazzled dance groove is shot through with the guitarist's choppy funk strumming. As for Monáe, her voice seems to be layered into the mix during the soaring chorus, and she sings lead on a brief bridge at the three-minute mark.
