Duncan Hood

"You" (video)

In addition to playing with groups like Snooker Emporium and Jaunt, Duncan Hood is also an active solo artist. Now, the Montreal/Toronto artist has continued to further his own music by premiering a video for "You."

This atmospheric, beat-driven electro-soul cut comes from last year's The Seat EP. The visuals add to the woozy mood of the music by showing a flickering blur of colours, abstract effects and ghostly silhouettes. There's a grainy analog quality to the clip, and we see some dimly lit shots of Hood singing along.

The clip was directed by Jaek Eastcott. Check it out below.

Torontonians can catch Duncan Hood perform tonight (June 8) at the Burdock Music Hall alongside Mauno and Skye Wallace.
