Do Make Say Think's Justin Small Launches Weekly Song Service

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jun 1, 2015

It's been six long years since Do Make Say Think released their Other Truths LP, but members have hardly been idle as they've worked on other projects. The group's Justin Small was busy with Lullabye Arkestra for a while, but he's just announced a unique, year-long solo project.

Starting today (June 1), Small has launched a new, weekly subscription service. The artist will write and record one song every week, create original artwork and release it for one dollar via his website.

Tiny Mix Tapes premiered "Slow Motion Hearts," which is this week's solo offering, and it's an atmospheric, percussive slow-burner that'd work well as the closer on a DMST album. You can stream the song below.

Do Make Say Think are also reportedly in the mixing stages of their next full-length album, though little information is available about that project just yet.
