Depeche Mode

'A Concert for the Masses' (documentary)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 17, 2013

Tomorrow (June 18) marks the 25 anniversary of Depeche Mode's 101st show behind their Music for the Masses LP, which took place at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA, and fittingly recorded for their live LP, 101. To mark the occasion, the synth-pop greats have served up a behind-the-scenes documentary full of rare footage titled A Concert for the Masses.

The nearly 20-minute short film lumps together clips from a television interview with the band, mic-swingin' soundcheck footage, and performances from openers Thomas Dolby and OMD. It caps with a classic run-through of Depeche Mode's "Never Let Me Down." Get ready to take a ride down memory lane with your best friends when you stream the doc down below.
